About Me (Lisa)
My name is Lisa. I am a Jesus-follower, married to the love of my life, and mom of three amazing kiddos. I speak, write, give, work, lead, budget, and drink a lot of coffee. My background is in church ministry (associate pastor's wife for 10+ years) and my heart is for the Church. Specifically, my heart is to help people embrace who God has made them, lean into the work they were created to do, and find ways to make an impact every step of the way. Whether speaking at a church, getting into a conversation about business ideas and structures, or encouraging women at an event designed just for them, I believe that each person is perfectly designed for the calling God has given them.
With this, I spend a LOT of time talking about stewardship (of influence, leadership, resources, time, energy, and ideas). I write, speak, and teach about practical wisdom and radical faith - doing math and walking on water.
Support & Where the Dollars Go
10% of all Patreon money and books purchased goes to Hope International. I LOVE this organization. They empower entrepreneurs in impoverished countries to create jobs for themselves and their communities.
Secondly (actually, probably firstly), 10% of all the money I make goes to my church. Throughout everything I teach, I always specify that the first and best 10% of all increase goes to the local church. I talk about this frequently, and it's how I've chosen to live my life. Living in grace, trusting Jesus, and prioritizing this in our finances.
Finally, the rest of it goes to maintaining what I've created, increasing the resources that are available for my readers, and a lot of coffee. Thank you for helping me help others (including my family).
